Are my Sanctum aluminium screens painted or powder coated?

All Sanctum aluminium screens are cut to order in Brisbane and hand-finished prior to coating.

Instead of painting, all Sanctum aluminium screens are powder-coated, where a dry powder is attracted to the aluminium surface using electric current, and then oven-baked for a durable long-life finish.

Most powder coaters are ‘industrial coaters’ – it doesn’t matter to them whether there are little blemishes if the overall job looks ok. We are fussy and we supply decorative feature pieces which are a major feature in your project.  Because of this, the coatings must be the same quality as our cutting, and we go to extraordinary lengths to ensure your screens are finished to the highest standards.

All aluminium screen orders include colour matched fixings (screws or rivets) to add extra quality and attention-to-detail to your finished installation.

FOLDED EDGES
Folding should be on your shortlist of options if you are looking for an easy and affordable way to finish and install your aluminium screening. Folds create rigidity and reduce or eliminate the need for framing – cutting labour costs and helping achieve an awesome result with lower cost and a minimum of effort.
Folds are one of our most popular finishing processes, and can readily be used to make fence panels, gates, feature screens, balustrading, privacy screening lightboxes and much, much more.

Sanctum is based in Brisbane, Australia, and over more than 12 years has proudly shipped many thousands of orders to clients around Australia.

Our screens, framing and accessories are typically large, easily damaged items and require careful packaging and handling until installed. Smaller screens are all individually wrapped, and larger items are wrapped in blankets to protect surfaces and finishes in transit.

You are welcome to collect from us in Brisbane, or on the Sunshine Coast. We also offer delivery on oversized transport to clients within a two hour drive radius of Brisbane, including Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast / northern NSW, and Toowoomba / Darling Downs.

For interstate orders, we have an arrangement with an independent freight company that does monthly deliveries to NSW, ACT, Victoria and South Australia. They collect from our workshop in a removalist truck, and your order is delivered to your door, and loaded and unloaded by hand for maximum care. The feedback we receive on this service is exceptional.

Unfortunately, we can no longer deliver to other areas at this stage. Due to soaring labour costs and increasingly complex freight logistics since COVID, it is no longer commercially viable to pack and ship relatively small orders on pallets. We appreciate your understanding.

If you are in another region that we cannot deliver to, you may wish to organise your own transport. Many orders have been collected by the purchasers on their travels around Australia. We have also helped clients piggyback their delivery with other items being shipped.
